What makes Phoenix Different?
In choosing a partner or supplier to work with your organization, it’s important to know who they are and how they are different. Most successful business relationships are not defined by how many transactions have been completed or how much money is involved, but what happens when problems develop.
In that sense, the character of business partners is very important. In most cases, it’s difficult to determine character until there is abnormal pressure within the relationship. In order to help you “see” the character of Phoenix, we think it’s important that you know this about us:
First, we are a values-driven organization. That’s easy to say and most organizations have established values, but Phoenix lives by our values, continuously reminds ourselves of our values, and constantly measures ourselves against our values.
Our values
- Service – we aspire to serve others: our clients, our company, our families, and God.
- Integrity – we are fair, honest, and forthright in all we do.
- Excellence – our results create raving fans.
- People – we care for each other and make our work inspiring, rewarding, and fun!
We should point out that we are never satisfied with our performance compared to our values, because we think they are absolutes and we know we are not perfect. However, we’re willing to be stand up for these values and be measured against them – and won’t make excuses!
Secondly, we believe that there is a unique culture in Phoenix that we call the Phoenix Way. It defines who we are and how we will work. We believe that culture is evident in everything we do and is readily apparent to our clients. We’d invite you to ask them yourselves.
Third, we believe strongly in producing results. If we complete a project or an assignment and nothing has changed then we have failed. We hold ourselves to a high standard and are never satisfied until there is lasting improvement. We work side-by-side with our clients in their environment to teach, coach, assist, and do everything we can to help them succeed. Failure is not an option.
Finally, there are several key principles that we live by including differentiating between whats and hows, defining the difference between events and systems, and knowing that there are lots of ways to fail and very few ways to succeed – because we’ve either done them ourselves or seen them done with over 20 years of experience.
Phoenix has the values, character, drive, and experience you need to help your organization succeed. And we can promise you that we will care about that success just as much as you will.
