A Sustainable Future

We recognize that our world has many challenges, and we desire a sustainable future – for us, our children, and the generations to come.  Throughout our history we have supported local children’s programs, charitable fundraisers and reached out to organizations that make a difference in the world, often through education.



     

    Children’s International Piggy Bank

    The Children’s International Piggy Bank, Inc. is a grass roots, non-profit organization whose mission is to connect individual and corporate charitable giving to the needs of impoverished children around the world. In providing basic needs for clothing, education, comfortable and safe homes, committed caretakers, and the like, these children can grow up to be solid adults who are equipped to make a positive difference in their world.

    The Hot Shades Story

    This is a story about the desire to obtain independence. It is a story about hard work, passion and living life to its fullest. Adrienne is the Hot Shades Story.

    Adrienne loves being with friends, dancing, attending activities in the community, working, vacationing and much more. Adrienne also has intellectual and physical disabilities which affect her speech, movement and cognitive functioning. The wonderful thing is that Adrienne doesn’t let her restrictions limit her love of life and sees herself as independent woman.

    Because of her disability, Adrienne is entitled to benefits from Social Security. However the monthly compensation is not enough for Adrienne to live outside her family’s home, though she has expressed the desire to one day live independently like her older sister. This is where one  of Adrienne’s passions come into play.

Future Goals

  • Implement Sustainability Measures (waste elimination, carbon reductions, etc).
  • Create a legacy of giving back – allocating a percentage of our profits for charitable organizations that make a difference in the world.
  • Establish an annual Phoenix Founder’s Day, where our employees and associates will work shoulder to shoulder with organizations, constructing positive change and serving others.
